Every Rocky Linux release is a coordinated effort across engineering, testing, and infrastructure. One piece of that process that needs a dedicated owner is torrent management, and we are looking for someone to take it on.

What the role involves

Torrent management during a release is a defined, time-boxed responsibility. It means pulling the ISOs ahead of release, generating the torrent files, getting initial seeding in place to verify things are working, and having everything ready to go when the release is cleared to ship. This is not an ongoing daily commitment. It is a release-week responsibility that repeats on the Rocky Linux release cadence.

Why it matters

Rocky Linux torrents give users a resilient, community-distributed download path that does not depend entirely on mirror availability. Having someone who owns the process means torrents are ready on time, tracked properly, and not an afterthought at the end of an already busy release week.
